Remove Reelhost
Before you uninstall, Reelhost can take away what it added to your computer, your router and Jellyfin.
- Open Backups and, under Remove Reelhost from this PC (on a Mac, from this Mac), click See what Reelhost added.
- Each item says Goes or Stays. Its hourly tasks, its key in Jellyfin, and the web address's secure connection, firewall rules and router rule (when Reelhost opened it) go. Things you may still want, such as the firewall rule for devices at home, the stay-awake setting and Free TV, stay unless you tick them.
- Click Remove …. Reelhost reports every step; anything it couldn't remove says what's left and what to do.
- Then remove Reelhost itself. On Windows: Windows Settings, Apps, Installed apps, Reelhost, Uninstall. On a Mac: quit Reelhost, then move it from Applications to the Bin.
In Docker there's no Remove button: turn off the web address on Watch away from home, then run docker compose down and delete Reelhost's data folder.
Jellyfin keeps your libraries, people and media. Your watchhome.app name stays yours unless you tick it too. To undo check-up fixes as well, restore a backup first.
