Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and Wizzered Inc. ("we", "us") about the Reelhost app, the reelhost.app website and watchhome.app addresses. By downloading or using Reelhost, you agree to them.

1. What Reelhost is

Reelhost is a Windows app that checks a Jellyfin media server on your PC, explains problems it finds, and, if you choose, changes Jellyfin's settings to fix them. Reelhost is an independent product. It works with Jellyfin but isn't made, endorsed or supported by the Jellyfin project, Emby, Plex, SiliconDust (HDHomeRun) or Tailscale.

2. Your license

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Reelhost on up to two computers at a time. You can move a license to another computer by deactivating it on the old one. You may not resell, rent or redistribute the app, or remove its license checks.

3. The free check-up

Anyone can download Reelhost and use the check-up and change previews for free. Applying fixes, adding people, folders and Free TV, and setting up a watchhome.app address need a paid plan. Free TV channels already added keep working without one.

4. Paid plans

• Lifetime is a one-time payment. It includes every fix, a watchhome.app address and updates for the life of the product, meaning for as long as we offer Reelhost. If we ever stop offering it, the app you have keeps working offline.
• Yearly renews automatically each year until you cancel. You can cancel anytime; your plan stays active until the end of the year you've paid for.
• Prices are shown on reelhost.app and at checkout. Taxes are added where they apply. If we change prices, existing yearly subscribers are told at least [30] days before their next renewal.

5. If you stop paying

Fixes you've already applied are settings on your PC and keep working. Reelhost never undoes them remotely. Without an active plan you can still run the free check-up, but you can't apply new fixes, and a yearly plan's watchhome.app address stops following your home's internet address 30 days after the plan ends.

6. watchhome.app addresses

• Each license includes one address, for use with your own Reelhost installation while your plan includes it. It isn't a domain you own, and you can't transfer it.
• Choose a name that doesn't impersonate anyone, infringe a trademark or offend. We may refuse or change names that do.
• We don't host or see your content; it streams from your PC. You're responsible for what you make available, for having the rights to it, and for securing your Jellyfin accounts with strong passwords.
• We may suspend an address used for illegal content, phishing, malware or attacks on others.
• After an address stops being covered by a plan, we may release the name for reuse after [90] days.

7. Other companies' services

Some features rely on services we don't control, including Jellyfin, Tailscale, Let's Encrypt, SiliconDust's TV guide, GitHub and your router. Their own terms apply, and they may change or stop working. We'll do our best to keep Reelhost compatible, but we can't guarantee their availability.

8. Backups and your responsibilities

Reelhost backs up Jellyfin's settings before every change and lets you restore them. It doesn't back up your media files, and it never changes them. Keep your own backups of anything important. Use Reelhost only on computers and networks you're allowed to manage.

9. Updates

Reelhost can check for and install updates. Updates may add, change or remove features, but won't take away fixes you've already applied.

11. Disclaimer

We build Reelhost carefully, preview every change and back up before applying it. Even so, the app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't promise it will work with every computer, router, network or version of Jellyfin.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Reelhost in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

13. Ending these terms

You can stop using Reelhost at any time. We may end your license if you break these terms, for example by sharing license keys or misusing a watchhome.app address.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll post it here and tell paying customers by email before it takes effect.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [state/country], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. [Venue / dispute resolution to be confirmed.]
