Backups and restoring
Every Apply saves a backup of Jellyfin's settings before changing anything. Open Backups to see them, newest first, with the date and size.
- Find the backup made just before the change you want to undo, and click Restore.
- Reelhost asks Replace current settings? Click Restore again.
- Reelhost stops Jellyfin, puts its settings back, and starts it again.
Restore also puts back what Reelhost changed outside Jellyfin since that backup: its firewall rule, the plugged-in sleep timer, how Jellyfin starts (as a service or when you sign in), the TV guide task, and the router, firewall and HTTPS parts of your web address. Your watchhome.app name stays yours.
A restore returns everything to that moment, not one fix at a time. To keep some fixes, restore, then apply those again. Your media files are never changed, so they're never part of a backup.
With Emby: restoring a backup from before the Web port fix puts Jellyfin back on Emby's port, where it can't start. Reelhost tells you. Run the Check-up and apply the Web port fix again.
