Best app for each device

Connect devices lists these too:

  • iPhone and iPad: Swiftfin (made by the Jellyfin project) or Infuse (a separate player by Firecore that also connects to Jellyfin).
  • Android phones and tablets: Findroid (a community app that can download videos to watch offline) or the official Jellyfin app.
  • Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV: Jellyfin for Android TV, from Google Play or the Amazon Appstore.
  • Apple TV: Swiftfin or Infuse.
  • Roku: the official Jellyfin channel.
  • LG and Samsung smart TVs: the official Jellyfin app; search for Jellyfin in the TV's app store.
  • A web browser: nothing to install. Open one of the addresses Reelhost shows.

Watch progress is kept in Jellyfin, so you can stop on one device and carry on on another. The home screen Reelhost sets up on the Viewing screen shows in Jellyfin's web app and the apps built on it; Swiftfin, Infuse and the TV apps keep their own layout.
