Which address to use

Connect devices lists every address that works, each with Copy:

  • Anywhere: your web address. Works on any device.
  • Your devices: phones, tablets and TVs signed in to your Tailscale.
  • At home: any device on your home Wi-Fi.
  • This PC (or This Mac): only on this computer.

The QR code uses the first one in that order. If you only see home addresses, set up watching away from home.
