Sleep settings
- What it means
- This computer goes to sleep, or hibernates, after a while when plugged in. While it's asleep, nobody can watch, at home or away, and recordings are missed.
- What the fix changes
- Stops this computer sleeping (and hibernating, if that's on) when plugged in. The screen can still turn off, battery settings stay as they are, and Jellyfin doesn't restart. On a Mac it applies on the power adapter only, after your Mac asks for your password.
- How to undo
- Restore the backup. The old timers come back.
On a Mac all ten checks appear, done the macOS way, and Network drives is called Start at login. In Docker, Firewall, Sleep settings and Network drives don't apply in a container, so they're hidden, and Antenna TV is set up on its own screen. More about Docker.
