Library fixer
Jellyfin recognises movies and episodes by their file and folder names. When it can't (no match, no year, or an episode without a season and episode number), the library fixer suggests a name Jellyfin understands, like Movie (Year)/Movie (Year).mkv or Show (Year)/Season 01/Show S01E02.mkv, and renames the file once you've checked it.
- Open People & folders. Library fixer is under the folders. Reelhost needs to be connected to Jellyfin.
- Click Scan my libraries. Reelhost asks Jellyfin which files in your movie and TV libraries it couldn't identify, then asks Reelhost AI for names. Only each file's path inside its library folder is sent.
- Check the table: each file's name now and its new name, what was found, and how sure Reelhost is. Suggestions under 60% are marked Not sure and left unticked. Tick the ones you want.
- Click Review 5 renames (the number is how many you ticked). It lists every move, any new folders, and anything left as it is, with why.
- Click Rename 5 files. Jellyfin reads the libraries again; titles and artwork appear over the next few minutes.
- Only inside the library. Files move only within their own library folder, and keep their extension. Nothing is overwritten: if a file with the new name is already there, that rename is skipped. Nothing is deleted.
- What goes along. Subtitles, posters and .nfo files with the same name move with the video.
- Undo. A record is written before the first file moves. Undo last library fix puts those files back and removes the folders it made, if they're empty; click it again for the fix before. A file whose old name is taken again is left alone. Undo is always free.
- Other apps. Emby, Plex and anything else reading these folders see the new names too.
- One scan looks at up to 2,000 files; scan again for the rest. A scan that finds nothing to fix sends nothing and doesn't count.
